Cooking Guide.
Soak one piece bird's nest for 3-5 hours. Use a small pot of 3 cups of water to slowly boil it. Add in the drained bird's nest and red dates. Keep the heat low. Cook for 1.5 to 2 hours. Cook till it gets soft and slightly crunchy in texture. Don't over cook the bird's nest, it will get too sticky. Please take note, it takes longer to cook a cave bird's nest. Once cooked, take it off the heat and add rock sugar to your own preference. One bird's nest is good for 2 servings.
